Solva Governance Update April 2026
Dear Community,
We’re pleased to share an update on our governance activities for April 2026. This month, we screened over 35 networks and participated in voting on 37 proposals across 13 chains, consistently advocating for the best interests of our delegators. Below is a chart highlighting the top 10 most active networks and a breakdown of our votes:
Top 10 most active chains by governance and Solva vote breakdown
In April, Solva voted on eight mainnet upgrade proposals across Cosmos Hub, Injective (#628), Injective (#632), Secret Network, BandChain, Quicksilver, XION, and MANTRA. These upgrades focused on infrastructure reliability, interoperability improvements, and security enhancements, ranging from Gaia’s v27.2.0 dependency refresh and Injective’s v1.18.3 and v1.19.0 performance upgrades to Secret Network’s v1.24.1 release, BandChain’s v3.1.3 oracle delivery improvements, Quicksilver’s ICA recovery enhancements, XION’s v29 zk-proof upgrades, and MANTRA’s v8.0.0 transition introducing ICS provider support and updated core dependencies.
Solva-supported upgrades (April 2026)
Outside of chain upgrades, April governance activity centered on perpetual market maintenance, cross-chain infrastructure recovery, and ecosystem security. The most consequential decisions included another extensive series of dYdX proposals covering perpetual market wind-downs, liquidity tier adjustments, tick size parameter updates, governance process changes, and incentive-related discussions, alongside multiple Injective proposals finalizing deprecated perpetual markets and refining exchange operations. Governance also continued to play an important defensive role across the ecosystem, with several spam and phishing proposals on Cosmos Hub and Osmosis receiving NO_WITH_VETO votes due to malicious links and user safety concerns. In parallel, multiple IBC light client recovery proposals across Osmosis and Secret Network helped restore and maintain cross-chain connectivity. Together, these proposals reflected a month focused on operational maintenance, market optimization, infrastructure resilience, and ecosystem security rather than sweeping protocol-level redesigns.
As usual, you can find the full list of proposals we voted on in April 2026 by scrolling down below.

| Vote: | abstain |
| Title: | Acquisition and Merger of Osmosis into the Cosmos Hub |
| Rationale: | CryptoCrew has decided to abstain from participating in any community pool spend proposals or any proposals related to spending in general as a matter of principle. This decision, made in April 2023, is intended to ensure that we accurately represent and uphold the interests of our community. We reserve the right to use our NO or NO_WITH_VETO option in specific cases. These cases include, but are not limited to, situations where the proposal is considered spam (i.e., irrelevant to the respective chain/community), disproportionately infringes on minority interests, or violates or encourages violation of the rules of engagement as currently established by the respective chain/community. By maintaining this stance, we aim to protect the integrity of the community and its governance processes, promote transparency, and safeguard against actions that may compromise the well-being of our members or the broader ecosystem. However, we recognize that our delegators may have differing opinions on these matters. To ensure that their voices are heard and respected, our delegators have the option to override our decision by participating in the voting process themselves. This enables a more inclusive and democratic approach to community decision-making, empowering our delegators to actively shape the direction and values of the community in alignment with their own perspectives and priorities. |
