CryptoCrew Validators Governance Update November 2025

2. December 2025

Dear Community,

We’re pleased to share an update on our governance activities for November 2025. This month, we screened over 35 networks and participated in voting on 65 proposals across 17 chains, consistently advocating for the best interests of our delegators. Below is a chart highlighting the top 10 most active networks and a breakdown of our votes:

Top 10 most active chains by governance proposals and CryptoCrew vote breakdown Top 10 most active chains by governance and CryptoCrew vote breakdown

In total, CryptoCrew supported eight mainnet upgrades this month across the Cosmos Hub, Babylon, Dymension, Secret Network, Persistence, Injective, and dYdX. These upgrades reflected steady technical progress across the ecosystem, improving reliability, cross-chain interoperability, and validator operations. They also delivered concrete platform advances including EVM and rollapp runtime expansion, IBC feature upgrades, and multiple security/maintenance patches.

November 2025 chain upgrades CryptoCrew-supported upgrades (November 2025)

dYdX Proposal #303 – dYdX Chain v9.4: Approved a protocol upgrade introducing leverage enforcement, staking-tiered fee logic, per-market discounts, and refined affiliate mechanics, alongside TWAP and staking-metrics fixes to strengthen trading safety and market integrity.

Injective Proposal #583 – Injective “Altria” Mainnet Upgrade (v1.17.0): Activated full public EVM mainnet access, unified MultiVM execution, and upgraded Geth with EIP-1559 DynamicFeeTx support, improving developer experience, gas predictability, and overall runtime reliability.

Cosmos Hub Proposal #1016 – Gaia v25.2.0 Upgrade: Delivered an expedited patch upgrade with key dependency bumps (including wasmd and related tooling) to address stability issues and maintain secure compatibility across the Hub stack.

Babylon Proposal #18 – Babylon v4 Software Upgrade: Rolled out a major mainnet upgrade adding technical and staking-layer improvements for BTCFi and co-staking functionality, advancing Babylon’s protocol maturity and operational robustness.

Babylon Proposal #19 – Babylon v4.1 Software Upgrade: Implemented a follow-on security-focused release containing critical fixes and hardening measures to stabilize the network after the v4 rollout.

Dymension Proposal #31 – “Beyond” Upgrade (v4.0.0): Upgraded core rollapp infrastructure with major bridge/module expansions, new safety controls (including circuit-breaker and rate-limit integrations), and performance improvements to enhance rollapp throughput and cross-chain interoperability.

Secret Network Proposal #334 – Secret Network v1.23.2 Upgrade: Included key SDK/WasmD security patches and MachineID onboarding updates, but #334 and #335 were rejected as erroneous and superseded by the corrected Proposal #336.”

Persistence Proposal #154 – PersistenceCore v16.0.0: Upgraded to Cosmos SDK v0.53.4 and IBC-Go v10.4.0, introduced IBC callbacks and protocol-pool/epochs components, and fixed middleware edge cases to expand IBC feature depth and reinforce chain reliability.

Separate from chain upgrades, several governance proposals this month touched on consensus safety, application whitelisting, incentive integrity, and voting-process design:

On Celestia, we voted YES on Proposal #7, supporting a lower min_signed_per_window to match the new 2/3-precommit finalization behavior and reduce avoidable validator jailing, strengthening liveness and cross-region ops.

On Injective, we voted NO on Proposal #591, declining the Hyper Ninja Wasm upload whitelist over weak disclosure, unclear audit/source-code status, and repeated resubmissions without addressing prior concerns; consistent with our security-first stance.

For dYdX voting-process design, we voted NO on Proposal #309 (which still passed), sharing the goal of shorter voting windows but opposing these exact parameters, since a 24-hour expedited minimum better preserves global review while staying responsive.

On dYdX incentives, we initially ABSTAINED on Proposal #306 but later switched to NO after the Foundation confirmed an incorrect TWAP and the proposal was rescinded; an example of real-time governance hygiene and correction of flawed incentive submissions.

You can find the full list of proposals we voted on this month by scrolling down below.

Your delegations allow us to maintain the quality of this service and represent our collective interests in governance. Remember, you can always override our vote with your own preferences on any active proposal. We appreciate your continued trust and support.

Kind regards,
The CryptoCrew Team ✅

Proposal:CELESTIA #7
Vote:yes
Title:Set min_signed_per_window to .001
Rationale:CryptoCrew backs lowering min_signed_per_window over a 10,000-block window to 0.001 (0.1%) from 0.75 on Mainnet and Arabica, and 0.01 on Mocha to align parameters across networks and prevent jailing of geographically distant or less-performant validators following the consensus-pacing change that finalizes blocks once 2/3 precommits arrive, resulting in fewer signatures per commit.

Our approach is designed to uphold community integrity and promote transparency while recognizing that our delegators might hold diverse views and may override our abstention through their direct participation in governance. This democratic approach empowers our delegators to actively shape the direction and values of the community in alignment with their own perspectives and priorities.

Vote:abstain
Title:Community Pool Spend
Rationale:CryptoCrew has decided to abstain from participating in any community pool spend proposals as a matter of principle. This decision, made in April 2023, is intended to ensure that we accurately represent and uphold the interests of our community. We reserve the right to use our NO or NO_WITH_VETO option in specific cases. These cases include, but are not limited to, situations where the proposal is considered spam (i.e., irrelevant to the respective chain/community), disproportionately infringes on minority interests, or violates or encourages violation of the rules of engagement as currently established by the respective chain/community. By maintaining this stance, we aim to protect the integrity of the community and its governance processes, promote transparency, and safeguard against actions that may compromise the well-being of our members or the broader ecosystem. However, we recognize that our delegators may have differing opinions on these matters. To ensure that their voices are heard and respected, our delegators have the option to override our decision by participating in the voting process themselves. This enables a more inclusive and democratic approach to community decision-making, empowering our delegators to actively shape the direction and values of the community in alignment with their own perspectives and priorities.

Vote:no
Title:Surge Season 7 Incentive Distribution Proposal
Rationale:CryptoCrew changes it's vote to no on proposal #306 following clarification from the dYdX Foundation that the submission was erroneous, using a 30-day TWAP instead of the intended 7-day TWAP, and has since been rescinded.

Proposal:INJECTIVE #591
Vote:no
Title:Whitelist Hyper Ninja: Fighting Kaiju Addresses for Wasm Upload
Rationale:CryptoCrew opposes the whitelisting of Hyperninjas addresses for the same reasons stated in Proposal #547, #548 and #552 citing failure to properly introduce and present the project and contracts for governance discussion, non-disclosure of source code and audit status, and absence of Testnet deployment — all of which pose unacceptable risks to both user funds and chain security. We previously noted that a No_With_Veto might be warranted, and now view it as necessary since this proposal has been resubmitted a third time unchanged despite prior community rejection.
Proposal:DYDX PROTOCOL #308
Vote:abstain
Title:Surge Season 7 Incentive Distribution Proposal
Rationale:CryptoCrew has decided to abstain from participating in any community pool spend proposals as a matter of principle. *
Proposal:DYDX PROTOCOL #309

Title:Reduce regular voting period to 48 hours and expedited to 18 hours

Proposal:DYDX PROTOCOL #313
Vote:no
Title:Adjust Protocol Revenue Sharing
Rationale:CryptoCrew votes NO on proposal #313, as proposal #304 already established a new buyback allocation framework, and there’s no clear rationale to modify revenue sharing again within such a short period.
